Job Title: Lead Data Engineer
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our data engineering team. This key role requires expertise in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade data integration and analytics solutions.
This position involves:
* Optimizing query and database performance
* Collaborating with DBAs to validate and implement tuning recommendations
* Overseeing ETL/ELT workflows
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), combined with strong leadership and communication skills.
This role demands a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices, as well as experience working with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Glue.
The successful candidate will be able to translate technical decisions into clear explanations for both technical and business stakeholders.
Required qualifications include 7+ years of experience in data engineering within enterprise-scale environments, expertise in Oracle performance tuning, and hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
Additional responsibilities include leading and mentoring the team, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement, and collaborating effectively with DBAs, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
