About the Role:
Optibus is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Planning R&D team. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background and experience building modern web applications.
The successful applicant will contribute to the development of features and improvements for mass transportation planning products, collaborating with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deploy full-stack applications using React and Node.js
* Actively participate in the entire development lifecycle, engaging in technical discussions
* Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to deliver robust features
Requirements
* 3+ years of full-stack web development experience
* Experience with React client-side development
* Experience with Node.js server-side development
* Understanding of web application architecture
* Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience with Python
* Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
* Experience in the mobility ecosystem
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
