Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to support validation for Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Resolution
2. Resolve daily issues stemming from FO Equity Derivatives desk, including valuation and pricing matters.
3. Work closely with EQD Desk Traders (L3) to address their issues promptly.
4. Ammend pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations, and resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
5. Develop and propose solutions as per PROD Support deliverables, collaborating with the technical team when needed.
6. Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
7. Liaise with technical teams to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements.
8. Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation; Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally.
9. Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables, participating in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
Requirements:
* Capital markets experience, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
