About the Role
As a Senior IT Recruiter, you will play a crucial part in our team, working closely with recruitment and business development professionals to source and recruit top talent in the technology sector. Your primary responsibility will be to apply your search, technical evaluation, and negotiation skills to identify and present quality candidates to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, and direct sourcing.
* Conduct thorough technical evaluations of candidates to assess their skills and competencies.
* Participate in full-cycle recruitment assignments, from initial contact to presentation to clients.
* Develop and post job descriptions on relevant platforms to attract qualified candidates.
* Network and build relationships with industry professionals to expand our candidate pipeline.
* Create shortlists of qualified candidates for client presentations.
* Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in IT recruitment.
* Minimum 3 years of direct headhunting experience in permanent and contract technology placements.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
* Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written).
* Excellent teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
* 2+ years of sales support or marketing experience.
* Experience with MS Word and LinkedIn Recruiter is a must.
* Working knowledge of CRM or ATS systems.
* 1+ year of experience working with U.S. or Canadian markets.
