Position: Java Engineer- AI Driven Automation & Vulnerability RemediationLocation: Remote in BrazilEmployment Type: CLTMonthly Salary in BRL: 18,000-21,554.40 reaisAbout the RoleWe are partnering with a leading enterprise banking client to build a next-generation engineering capability focused on AI-driven vulnerability detection and automated remediation at scale.This team is tackling a critical challenge: modernizing application security by leveraging LLMs and AI agents to scan, identify, and remediate vulnerabilities across large-scale code repositories.As a Senior Java Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building intelligent automation pipelines that integrate LLMs, AI agents, and enterprise DevOps workflows to significantly improve security posture and development velocity.What You’ll Be DoingDesign and build automation pipelines that scan source code repositories and identify security vulnerabilities using LLMs and AI toolingDevelop intelligent remediation workflows to automatically resolve or recommend fixes for vulnerabilitiesIntegrate AI-driven systems into existing DevOps pipelines (GitLab, CI/CD)Collaborate with architecture teams to build scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across large codebasesWork hands-on with Java/Spring Boot applications to implement secure coding and remediation patternsBuild and optimize AI agent workflows including rules, skills, and orchestration logicEnsure systems are scalable, reliable, and performant in a high-volume enterprise environmentPartner with platform and security teams to continuously improve code quality, resiliency, and complianceWhat We’re Looking ForCore RequirementsStrong/Fluent in English5+ years of experience in Java developmentStrong hands-on experience with Spring Boot / enterprise Java applicationsDeep understanding of:Multithreading & concurrencyDesign patterns & clean code principlesScalable system architectureExperience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)Familiarity with large-scale codebases and repository managementAI / Modern Exposure (Highly Preferred)Exposure to or experience with:LLMs (e.G., Claude, GPT, or similar)AI-assisted development workflowsAI agents, pipelines, or orchestration frameworksUnderstanding of how AI can be leveraged to solve real engineering problems, not just theoretical exposureNice-to-HaveExperience in application security, vulnerability scanning, or remediationKnowledge of DevSecOps practicesExposure to tools like Windsurf or other AI developer platformsExperience in enterprise banking or financial services environments
