Leap29 is seeking a seasoned Business Developer PtX to drive growth in Power-to-X (PtX) and green hydrogen projects within Brazil's renewable energy market.
This role can be performed remotely, with the successful candidate requiring a strong understanding of the Brazilian market, established networks, and local expertise.
* The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive research on market trends, regulatory frameworks, and economic conditions to identify lucrative opportunities in Brazil.
* They will evaluate potential projects, sites, and partners during the initial screening phase, assessing their feasibility and potential for success.
* Our Business Developer PtX will work closely with internal teams to assess project alignment with company objectives and provide strategic guidance on investment decisions.
* Key responsibilities include developing preliminary financial forecasts and investment models to inform business development strategies.
* Furthermore, this role involves collaborating with external stakeholders to gather market intelligence and leverage existing networks to enhance our competitive advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in business development for PtX, green hydrogen, or related derivatives. They should have an excellent knowledge of PtX, green hydrogen, and renewable energy markets in Brazil, as well as demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders.
Able to evaluate opportunities and conduct early-stage project analysis, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
Additionally, they must be fluent in Portuguese and English (with Spanish being an asset). The ability to work remotely from Brazil, with occasional travel as needed, is essential for this role.
