FS Studio is seeking a Houdini Technical Artist with Omniverse experience to create procedural scenes and objects for synthetic data and robotic simulations in Nvidia Omniverse.
Responsibilities
Work with the creative services team to design and create procedural scenes and objects for synthetic data and robotic simulations in Nvidia Omniverse.
Have industry/enterprise experience (e.g., warehousing, robotic arms, manufacturing, automation).
Collaborate with Sr. Technical Artist and Lead Artist to create photo‑realistic quality scenes and objects.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Ensure the quality and performance of the final product.
Requirements
Procedural modeling and scene generation in Houdini.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in USD workflows.
Demonstrated aptitude and knowledge of Python for Houdini and USD pipelines.
Familiarity with version control systems.
Nvidia Omniverse experience (preferred).
Unreal Engine and Unity experience (preferred).
Blender geometry nodes knowledge (preferred).
Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or C++ (plus).Experience with cloud‑based services and APIs (plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a global, remote team in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Must be able to speak and conduct business in English.
