Job Title: Enterprise Architect
The Technical Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the technical infrastructure of an enterprise, driving business strategy and delivering targeted outcomes. This position is responsible for leading efforts to develop and maintain architectural assets, setting direction aligned with business and IT goals, and collaborating with service management teams and solution architects to lower total cost of ownership.
* Leads the development and maintenance of architectural assets for the technical domain.
* Sets architecture direction that aligns with business and IT objectives.
* Works with service management teams and solution architects to optimize IT capabilities.
* Represents enterprise architecture by sharing knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participates as a member of architectural review boards ensuring quality and compliance.
* Leads the creation of technical standards within area(s) of responsibility.
* Responsible for updating work products and communication when changes are required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Economics, Sociology, or a related field.
* 8+ years of IT experience required.
* 4+ years of architecture experience in multiple domains such as business, information, application, integration, technology, and security.
* Ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology strategies while considering various options and business needs.
* Awareness of retail, supply chain, manufacturing, or consumer goods industries.
* TOGAF, IASA, or any other architecture-related certification is required.
