Audio Editing Specialist Needed
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled audio editing specialist to join our remote team. As an audio editor, you will be responsible for refining podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, and adding music. Your goal will be to deliver polished, broadcast-ready episodes that meet the highest standards of quality.
Main Responsibilities:
* Edit raw podcast audio into refined episodes.
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents.
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without altering the speaker's voice or intent.
* Restructure sections when necessary based on how questions were answered.
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates as required.
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully.
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
* Produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use.
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested.
Key Qualifications:
1. Demonstrate high-quality edited podcast episodes that meet brand standards.
2. Collaborate with the content team to ensure seamless integration with existing projects.
3. Develop effective audio editing strategies to enhance sound quality and engage listeners.
4. Maintain accurate records of edited episodes and deliverables.
