Lead Project Manager Role
As a key member of our agile engineering environment, we're seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to own delivery execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This critical role sits at the center of business, product, and engineering, translating priorities into actionable plans, driving clarity, and ensuring work is delivered with quality and consistency.
This is a hands-on, client-facing position for someone who enjoys taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned and moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from planning through execution and completion.
* Build and manage delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination.
* Partner closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira).
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams.
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve.
* Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed.
* Support prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis.
* Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability.
* Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives.
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar).
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking.
* Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role.
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity.
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs.
* Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus, but not required.
