What you’ll achieve As an Identity Governance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity governance and lifecycle workflows within Okta to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access management across the enterprise. This role oversees integrations with HR, ServiceNow and business systems, automates provisioning/de‑provisioning, and troubleshoots identity-related issues. You’ll partner with security, IAM, and application teams to enhance identity controls and support continuous improvement of the IGA ecosystem. You will: Configure and maintain Okta Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) components, including group rules, workflow automations, identity mappings, ServiceNow integration and governance policies Document architecture, processes, and technical configurations to support scalability and operational excellence Build and optimize integrations using SCIM, APIs, and event hooks to support accurate identity lifecycle operations across applications Monitor identity governance workflows, ensuring compliance with audit and security requirements Conduct root‑cause analysis and remediation for identity sync failures, provisioning errors, and attribute mapping issues Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Strong hands‑on experience with Okta, including Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, SCIM integrations, and workflow automation Solid understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts such as provisioning, de‑provisioning, access certification, and role/attribute management Proficiency working with APIs, ServiceNow forms, scripting (PowerShell/Python), or automation tools to support identity operations Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and identity data mapping/troubleshooting Advanced English proficiency is required. Desirable Requirements Strong background in identity governance and security (SailPoint, Saviynt, Azure/AWS IAM) with knowledge of modern authentication standards (OIDC, OAuth, SAML). Familiarity with major compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and audit processes, with a plus for candidates holding a degree in Software Engineering or related fields.
