Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager in Brazil to lead our growth and partnerships strategy in the region. This role will focus on building and nurturing relationships with education agents, consultants, high schools, universities, and B2B partners, primarily in Brazil, with support across key South American markets.
This is a remote role for a candidate based in Brazil. You will possess a strong network in the education industry, particularly in international student mobility, as well as in the regional education landscape, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute regional strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our agent network in South America.
* Manage and nurture relationships with existing agents, ensuring their ongoing engagement and success.
* Identify and onboard new agency partners, delivering training and sales enablement support.
* Identify business opportunities in the K-12 and Higher Education spaces in the region.
* Monitor tenders and RFPs across key markets, ensuring relevant opportunities are flagged and coordinating proposal development.
* Identify new business opportunities for OIDI's offerings outside the education space, targeting the corporate sector.
* Represent OIDI at industry events, fairs, and conferences to promote our offerings and build brand awareness.
* Collaborate with internal teams to tailor marketing materials and campaigns for the South American market.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and agent interactions in the CRM system.
* Report on KPIs and pipeline forecasts to senior leadership.
Person Specifications
Desired
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
* Significant experience in Business Development and Sales activities within the education sector.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong understanding of international student recruitment processes.
* Strong network of contacts within the South American education industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
* Ability to travel within the region as required.
* Based in Brazil and legally authorised to work.
Preferred
* Experience working with educational agents and understanding of the international student recruitment process.
* Familiarity with digital education platforms and online learning solutions.
* Experience with English testing
* Knowledge of cultural nuances and business practices in South America.
* Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
