Regulatory Research Specialist
This fully remote role focuses on researching and tracking global trade regulations – primarily across LATAM and North America – to provide actionable insights that keep SAP GTS systems up-to-date for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stay informed about legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and local experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* Analyze and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when necessary.
SAP GTS Alignment:
* Research and provide insights relevant to SAP GTS (v11 or similar), supporting product specialists on topics such as:
* Export Control & Licensing
* Import Control & Market Access
* Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance
* Customs & Tariff Management
* Trade Agreements & Origin Management
* Regulatory Reporting & Declarations
