Responsibilities
1. Own PR intake and account management for partner accounts: triage requests from Partnerships/program leads/external partners, translate goals into PR briefs, set timelines and SLAs, and keep stakeholders updated.
2. Plan and execute account-specific PR campaigns that elevate our programming and deliver value for partner accounts (applications, attendance, thought leadership, brand lift).
3. Draft co-branded press materials (press releases, media advisories, pitches, talking points, bylines, case studies) aligned with our brand guidelines.
4. Proactively pitch stories to media relevant to each partner's industry and program focus; secure coverage that drives program KPIs and expands partner visibility.
5. Coordinate media moments around program milestones to showcase partner collaboration and program success.
6. Maintain account-facing reporting (coverage, reach, message pull-through, backlinks, SOV) and translate results into actionable next steps for partners and program teams.
7. Build and maintain targeted media lists mapped to partner industries; cultivate reporter relationships on behalf of our accounts.
8. Package earned media for amplification (social, newsletters, web) in collaboration with Design/Social/Web teams.
9. Uphold partner approval workflows (legal/brand/PR) and maintain a clean CRM/PRM with account-level tracking, contacts, and follow-ups.
10. Support issues/crisis communications affecting partners or programs with clear escalation and pre-approved messaging.
11. Manage multiple projects and a high volume of asks while meeting SLAs and deadlines; continuously improve processes to deliver reliable value to accounts and raise the profile of our programming.
This role requires exceptional writing and editing skills with clear, concise, on-brand messaging. It also demands proven account management capability: high-volume inbox management, prioritization, stakeholder communications, and on-time delivery.
