As a Category Management Support Intern, you will assist our Category Manager Team with various tasks related to managing and promoting our storage solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the tech industry, develop your analytical skills, and work with a team of experts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Lifecycle Management :Support the Category Manager in managing the product portfolio, including adding new products and discontinuing under performing ones.
2. Promotional Planning and Execution :Help plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns for storage products.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.
3. Product Performance Tracking :Track and analyze the performance of products within the storage category.Prepare reports on sales performance and market share.
4. Inventory Management :Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.Help with inventory forecasting and planning to meet customer demand and minimize excess stock.
5. Distribution and Reseller relationship support Support the Category Manager in managing relationships with distribution and resellers.Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
6. Customer Feedback and Insights :Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the product category.Assist in developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
7. Sales Support :Provide support for the sales teams by preparing product information newsletters, sales presentations and training materials.
Technical Skills and Knowledge :
8. Basic understanding of storage solutions and technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage).
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI).
10. Understanding of product management principles.

11. Ability to understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.

Academic Experience :
14. Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Information Technology
