Job Summary
The Dynamics 365 Technical Engineer/Consultant will be responsible for creating a technology framework and providing technical leadership in support of customer initiatives in cloud computing and automation. The successful candidate will design systems and services that run on D365 platforms, lead technical teams, and drive solutions forward.
* Solution Design and Engineering: Assist with the system design and engineering of solutions using Microsoft CRM, Azure features, and .NET technologies.
* Requirement Gathering: Interact with business users to understand and document business requirements.
* Proof of Concept (POC): Perform POCs for new business requirements and work closely with business stakeholders to convert POCs into working models.
* Process Flows and System Tasks: Create process flows and system tasks for requirements and customize and configure Microsoft CRM applications as per designed artifacts.
* Project Engineering: Manage development and enhancement of Microsoft CRM applications and provide oversight to other developers in the team.
* Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance teams during testing processes and assist with defect fixes by correcting Microsoft CRM code.
* Production Support: Support production systems and analyze and resolve business-critical issues within SLA timelines.
* Tool Evaluation: Evaluate tools and technologies in the market that can improve business processes and benefit customers.
* Patch Release Management: Manage dynamics patch releases and wave release planning to keep main systems up-to-date.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
* Experience with at least two IT disciplines, including technical cloud architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations.
* Exposure to multiple diverse technologies and processing environments.
* Knowledge of all components of technical D365 CE and FO, Azure, .NET technologies, solution design, requirement gathering, Microsoft CRM customization, DevOps pipelines, Power Platform integration, D365 & Azure patch & release management, technical leadership, production support, governance, and best practices.
