What You’ll Do
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to lead Master Data Management (MDM) and AI-driven initiatives for our Global HR functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, governance, and leveraging AI to enhance HR processes, decision-making, and efficiency. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll balance solving immediate pain points with building smarter, scalable systems. You’ll focus on rapid deployment of pragmatic solutions to improve workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and unlock new opportunities for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Rapid Solution Deployment:
* Identify, design, and implement quick, sustainable data solutions such as predictive models or automation pipelines to streamline day-to-day operations.
* Tackle critical inefficiencies by automating manual processes and enhancing data accessibility across systems.
Systems Integration and Modernisation:
* Understand and connect our patchwork of legacy systems using APIs, custom scripts, and data pipelines.
* Apply lessons learned from short-term fixes to inform broader modernisation efforts.
Business-Minded Engineering:
* Approach every challenge with the mindset of a business owner, asking: “What’s the clearest, fastest path to solving this problem?”
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand their pain points and design solutions that deliver measurable impact.
Cutting-Edge Tools and AI:
* Leverage modern platforms like Google Cloud, machine learning frameworks, and large language models (LLMs) to drive innovation.
* Experiment with and deploy emerging technologies to improve workflows and decision- making processes
* Drive AI-powered initiatives across HR to enhance data-driven decision-making and process automation.
Knowledge Sharing and Enablement:
* Work with existing teams to share best practices, improve technical skills, and embed a culture of data-driven thinking.
* Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to define data governance frameworks and best practices.

We’re seeking a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. You don’t need to know everything about our business upfront—but you do need the ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and build practical solutions that make a difference.
Core Skills and Traits:
* Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in Python, SQL, and data science. Experience with APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure), and automation is key.
* AI/ML Familiarity: Hands-on experience with machine learning and other AI frameworks, including the use of LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT APIs) to solve business challenges.
* Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to find the clearest, fastest path to a solution without getting bogged down by perfectionism.
* Business-Oriented Thinking: Strong instinct for understanding business needs and how technical solutions can directly address them.
* Collaboration: Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical teams to gather input and deliver results.
Preferred Experience:
* Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* We welcome both early-career candidates with ambition and seasoned professionals with experience in roles involving data engineering, software development, or data science and a desire to make an impact, looking to transition to team leader roles
* Familiarity of HR systems such as Oracle HDM or similar
* Experience in building automations, integrating legacy systems, or deploying data-driven solutions in real-world contexts is a plus.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
* Ability to work collaboratively across HR, IT and other business functions
