OverviewCredit Analyst is an intermediate-level position, responsible for conducting credit reviews, monitoring the portfolio to identify the variation in the quality of its customers, in coordination with the Risk Management team.ResponsibilitiesConducts risk assessments and customer credit analyses, reviews financial results and peer reviews, and prepares financial projections;Prepares approval memoranda (Credit Reports and ATAs), conducting due diligence and sensitivity analyses;Escalates credit concerns/updates to risk and business managers and proposes risk mitigation measures, continuously staying informed of developments/news related to the portfolio and the covered sector and understanding Citi's credit process, policies and risk appetite;Assists in preparing portfolio review and conducting stress tests;Participates in credit committees and discussions, proactively;Engagement in customer visits and calls;Builds working relationships with multiple teams across the bank, including sales, markets, and product teams;Resolves issues and recommends solutions to moderate issues;Serves as an expert and consultant for specific industries;Advises the commercial area on transaction structures and negotiates credit terms;Appropriately assess risks during business-related decision-making processes, with particular attention to the reputation and protection of Citi's credit portfolio;Transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.QualificationsPrevious experience in credit analysis (3-6 years);Knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, financial analysis/modeling, credit products, derivatives, risk assessment and transaction execution;High degree of customer analytical capacity and complex structures.
