Intellectual Property Project Manager

This role involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests, working closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery within scope and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will coordinate various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
A full-time, remote position requires working hours in Pacific Standard Time (United States time zone). Proficiency in English is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing all documents required for EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Proactively initiating responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring cases and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools and Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skilled at training users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
