About the Position
As a Sales Director, you will lead a team of Key Account Executives in a dynamic, highly technology‑driven environment, focusing on understanding customer needs and delivering Azion’s value proposition. Adaptability, a deep understanding of how the Internet works, and a strategic market perspective are essential.
We seek a hands‑on professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of delivering results through personal effort and relationships, as well as through team leadership, across diverse budget scenarios. You will build and develop high‑performing teams and articulate our products’ value to the market, supported by highly skilled internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, coach, and develop high‑performance teams;
* Exceed quarterly revenue targets, focusing on sustainable, long‑term business growth;
* Provide strategic direction to the sales organization and support sales representatives as they manage deals from first contact to close;
* Execute and provide feedback to go‑to‑market strategies that align business objectives with market opportunities;
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure an integrated customer experience and strategic alignment;
* Become an expert in Azion’s products and services, translating technical capabilities into tangible business value;
* Lead continuousimprovement initiatives in sales processes and tools, leveraging a data‑driven approach for quick and effective adjustments.
Required Qualifications
* Consolidated experience as Sales Director in the IT segment, planning and conducting the sales area, building long‑term growth strategies, and actively working with the team to achieve goals in complex environments;
* Background as an Account Executive or Key Account Executive in SaaS sales, with expertise in B2B strategies;
* Demonstrated success in leading teams to exceed sales targets, with the ability to motivate and retain high‑performing talent;
* A data‑driven mindset for analyzing sales performance, pipeline forecasting, and optimizing strategies;
* Knowledge of information security, web applications and how the Internet works;
* Mastery of sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, Predictable Revenue, or other results‑driven approaches in SaaS;
* Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
* Technical experience prior to transitioning into sales, enabling a deep understanding of the product and its applications;
* Experience leading initiatives in international markets;
* Ability to rampfast and pivot quickly as the business evolves;
* Knowledge in Edge Computing or CDN;
* MBA or Master’sdegree in relevant fields such as Business, Technology, or Management;
* Fluent English and Spanish.
