As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across three core products—web and mobile. Your responsibilities will include defining and leading design experiences, taking ideas from concept to completion, conducting research, managing usability testing sessions, and collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and scope appropriately.

* You will lead usability testing sessions, gather feedback, and refine designs accordingly.

* You will have the opportunity to establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library, contributing to the overall brand experience.

* You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement design solutions.

Requirements

* A minimum of 4 years of experience in product/UX design is required.

* Fluency in English is essential.

* You should possess strong problem-solving skills, a good eye for visual design, and proficiency with Figma.

* Your portfolio should showcase concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces.

* Experience designing for similar users is preferred.

Work Environment

The team is distributed, with members located primarily in North and South America. Flexible work hours are available, but regular meetings are expected. The team relies heavily on collaboration tools like Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion.

The company offers a contractor-based employment model, which requires individuals to have a company set up in Brazil or have the company assist in setting one up.

Interview Process

* A small project will be assigned, requiring 2 hours of work, where you will come up with low-fidelity designs for a user experience addressing a specific problem. You will present your project during a 1-hour interview with leadership.

* Follow-up interviews with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions.
