Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled software developer to join our team as a JD Edwards (JDE) Developer.
The JDE Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs utilizing the JDE developer toolkit owned by the GTS Corporate Applications team.
This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for JD Enterprise One (JDE), supporting processes, and implementing improvements.
The JDE Developer ensures appropriate controls are in place and integrates data for decision makers and business owners to support IT, Compliance, project, and vendor management activities.
Responsibilities include:
Serving as a subject matter expert developer for JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures
Gathering business requirements and implementing a global standard design for the Global Systems Implementation of JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces with other Gallagher applications
Assisting with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient
Ensuring JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug-free
Analyzing business needs, creating appropriate functional and technical designs, developing the programs, and performing testing to ensure quality of the deliverables
Ensuring JDE programs are compliant with IT Policy. Building plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical experience of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 or higher, including application configuration and development
Experience with JDE Localization implementations, preferably for LatAm countries
Strong financial applications, analysis, and issue resolution skills
Experience working with fellow team members and third-party vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions
Working 'hands-on' knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies
Financial & Business acumen and awareness of management and analysis processes
Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Products, especially Excel
Excellent organization skills, and verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations
Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams
Advanced in Spanish/Advanced English
