Job Title: Digital Asset Specialist - Web
Location: Remote – US PST 8am to 5pm (flexible)
Job Summary: A metadata and taxonomy expert with experience managing large-scale digital asset libraries. Brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to scale structure through governance, training, and cross-functional collaboration. Plays a key role in enabling AI tagging systems, maintaining asset integrity, and ensuring long-term scalability of the DAM.
Key Responsibilities:
Good understanding of metadata models, taxonomy structures, and controlled vocabularies
Experience organizing and managing large volumes of assets in enterprise DAM platforms(e.g., AEM)
Skilled in creating and applying consistent folder structures, naming conventions, and tagging standards
Strong quality assurance mindset with experience providing human-in-the-loop support alongside AI tagging tools
Comfortable working across teams to implement governance policies and metadata best practices
Ability to train and onboard marketers and content owners on how to use and maintain structured DAM systems
Familiarity with usage rights, compliance workflows, and content lifecycle management
Strategic mindset to help embed librarian practices into decentralized teams and scale metadata ownership over time
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, communications, computational linguistics, or 3 years of experience in similar line of work.
3+ years program or project management experience.
Experience and understanding the concept of training data creation for AI prompt development.
3+ years of experience in managing an extensive digital asset library
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to teach/train content governance and DAM operational policies to teams that have different levels of understanding of the subject matter.
Strong problem-solving skills and a service mindset.
