As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and all aspects of monthly accounting close processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in these software tools and excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. They should also be able to work independently and communicate effectively across teams.
* You will manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle: receiving and processing client agreements, generating and sending invoices, maintaining the AR schedule, and supporting collections.
* You will oversee the full Accounts Payable cycle: receiving and processing vendor bills, routing invoices for approval, disputing or following up on payments when necessary, and performing weekly bank reconciliations.
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling during the initial ramp-up period and post-ramp-up. The successful candidate will report directly to the Controller and work fully remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Executing a timely and accurate month-end close by the designated deadline, including bank reconciliations, prepaid expense schedules, accruals and deferrals, depreciation and amortization schedules, expense reclassifications, and identification and analysis of revenue leakage.
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
* Proven experience in accounting and month-end close processes.
* Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
* Familiarity with Bill.com is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* The ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams.
