Head of Corporate Security Brazil
Location: São Paulo, Brazil
Role Purpose
As Head of Corporate Security Brazil, you will be responsible for leading and executing a robust security strategy with a particular emphasis on Anti-Illicit Trade (AIT) initiatives. You will drive the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of corporate security programs, ensuring strong risk ownership at leadership levels across the business units in Brazil. A key focus of the role is to proactively lead intelligence-led AIT operations, cross-functional collaboration, and external law enforcement engagement to deliver tangible impact against illicit trade threats.
You will act as a catalyst for innovative thinking around AIT risk, security resilience, and crisis management while ensuring measurable reductions in security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Anti-Illicit Trade Leadership
* Lead and manage the national Anti-Illicit Trade (AIT) strategy to detect, disrupt, and dismantle illicit trade networks.
* Maximize the use of actionable intelligence to drive significant enforcement actions, focusing on large-scale seizures ("big fish" cases).
* Drive end-to-end AIT risk reduction by fostering internal and external communication, collaboration, and awareness.
* Support AIT program governance through continuous improvement of Communities of Practice, processes, tools, and performance reporting.
* Coordinate and enable effective collaboration between internal stakeholders (Legal, Supply, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Affairs) and external authorities (customs, police, regulatory bodies) to strengthen AIT operations.
* Lead new initiatives related to post-patent security defenses and brand protection efforts.
* Report on AIT program performance to senior leadership and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Corporate Security Program Delivery
* Oversee People and Site Security programs focused on proactive threat anticipation, risk mitigation, incident response, and complex security investigations.
* Drive sustainable security awareness initiatives to protect employees, assets, and operations.
* Empower business units to own and drive site-specific security improvement plans.
Crisis Management and Resilience
* Lead the deployment and maturity of Crisis Management and Business Resilience frameworks.
* Conduct regular Crisis Management Tabletop Exercises based on Brazil-specific risk scenarios.
* Ensure rapid and effective dissemination and response to critical security alerts.
Security Training and Awareness
* Develop and deliver Risk-Based, Intelligence-Led Security Training programs to ensure high competency levels across the organization.
* Maintain high standards in fact-gathering, evidence management, and investigation professionalism for all security incidents.
External Engagement and Intelligence
* Build and maintain strong external networks with law enforcement, customs, regulatory agencies, and security industry peers to enhance intelligence sharing and operational collaboration.
* Actively participate in key security and AIT-focused associations and forums to enhance Brazil’s security posture.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
* Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) is essential.
* Strong background in Corporate Security leadership roles.
* Proven experience Anti-Illicit Trade operations (within law enforcement, corporate brand protection, or e-commerce platform investigations).
* Proven expertise in intelligence management, project management, stakeholder engagement, and security operations.
* Strong experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and cross-functional project initiatives.
* Master’s degree preferred (Security, Law, Business Administration, or related fields).
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and crisis leadership skills.
