An established healthcare technology company is entering an exciting new growth phase and is looking for a commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketing to lead and scale the business across Brazil.
This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading software company that provides critical solutions to hospitals, blood banks, transfusion centres, laboratories, and healthcare providers.
The role requires a true player-coach leader — someone capable of building strategy at leadership level while also driving high-value enterprise sales opportunities personally.
Position
You will take ownership of the commercial function, leading both sales and marketing while helping shape the future direction of the business following a recent acquisition.
The company already has an established client base, specialist healthcare products, and a strong reputation within the sector. The focus now is accelerating growth, improving commercial structure, and expanding new business opportunities across Brazil.
This role will carry both an individual sales target and an overall team revenue target, requiring someone who is equally comfortable leading from the front while managing and developing a high-performing commercial function.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute the commercial growth strategy
* Carry and deliver against a personal sales target alongside overall team targets
* Drive enterprise-level new business sales across the healthcare sector
* Manage and develop the existing sales and marketing team
* Build scalable sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline management
* Work closely with senior leadership on business growth initiatives
* Develop relationships with hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and healthcare organisations
* Support CRM and commercial transformation projects including HubSpot implementation
* Act as both strategic leader and hands‑on commercial driver
Candidate Profile
* Strong experience within healthcare, medical software, diagnostics, laboratory solutions, or related industries
* Proven success leading sales teams and delivering revenue growth
* Strong background in enterprise new business sales
* Experience working within complex healthcare environments
* Knowledge of blood products, transfusion services, hemotherapy, or related medical sectors is highly advantageous
* Able to travel regularly within Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro
