IT Support Expert
Our organization seeks an accomplished IT support specialist to provide expert technical assistance for our local infrastructure, users, and critical systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Solving Technical Issues: Offer on-site support for resolving technical issues related to infrastructure, systems, and user devices.
* System Uptime: Monitor IT equipment and perform maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and uptime.
* User Assistance: Provide desktop/user support for local staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance activities such as security checks, system health checks, and patch updates.
* Critical Requests: Coordinate critical service requests with remote teams and vendors as needed.
* Incident Escalation: Assist in escalating complex incidents to higher-level support teams while ensuring proper follow-through.
Requirements:
* Technical Experience: Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop engineering roles.
* Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking fundamentals, hardware, and peripherals.
* IT Service Management: Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and incident management processes.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with users at all levels.
* Documentation: Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
