SENIOR GO ENGINEER | SERIES A FINTECH START-UP | REMOTE IN LATAM | $120k USDRealm is partnered with a high-growth fintech building who have recently secured a huge Series A round and is looking to grow its team.They're developing a payment fraud detection platform to rapidly identify and prevent fraudulent transactions. The platform will automatically detect suspicious activity and potential perpetrators, significantly reducing response times.Who they're looking for:A backend engineer with exceptional Go programming skills (min 2 years of commercial Go experience) and a strong foundation in databases, gRPC, and scalable system architecture.You'll work on complex problems in fintech, risk, and fraud, and have the opportunity to join an exceptional remotely distributed team of 6 who are re-inventing fraud detection.Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for chargeback management, integrating with credit card, banking, and merchant platforms. Design and implement robust microservices architecture, leveraging reusable frameworks and libraries. Optimize system performance and security by leading code improvement, CI/CD enhancement, and technology upgrades. Drive platform innovation by identifying improvement areas and owning feature development from inception to deployment.Ideal candidate: 6+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in Go production environments. Proven experience in platform architecture and development. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, including leading complex projects. Excellent problem-solving abilities and deep technical knowledge.
