* We are seeking a skilled mobile game designer to collaborate with our team on a high-profile project. Your primary role will be to adapt features and systems that captivate players with fresh experiences for the mobile platform.
* You will work closely with design and product teams to identify and resolve opportunities to improve the mobile experience in our flagship title.
* You will utilize Unreal Engine to implement designs in Blueprint in close collaboration with UI/UX, engineers, animators, VFX, sound artists, and others.
* You will work with production to ensure continuous evaluation and prioritization of the mobile experience, as well as enabling the team to address any issues found.
* You will attend design review meetings to provide feedback on mobile design considerations throughout development.
* You will participate in playtests, offer feedback, and identify practical solutions to problems.
* You will promote best practices for working closely with user research and incorporating playtest feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a mobile game designer on Unreal or Unity.
* Strong interest in Fortnite, BR, and multiplayer games, with an understanding of what makes them engaging.
* Experience designing mobile game content for GaaS models or relevant online games experience.
* Passion for games with a wide breadth of mobile development knowledge, including controls for mobile and UX/UI.
* Demonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and the effects of goal setting on play.
* Solution-oriented problem solver who can react quickly to changing project needs and drive decisions.
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to fully own the outcome of a cross-disciplined team.
