Job Description
This role involves working on a variety of Murex system implementations, configurations, and developments across various aspects of the platform, including data mart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and communicate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
2. Analyse and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
3. Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
4. SUPPORT IT AND BUSINESS AUDITS AND TECHNOLOGY RISK ASSESSMENTS.
5. Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
6. Perform technical reviews of production changes.
7. Write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within confluence.
8. Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches.
9. Deal directly with business users across the bank, including front, middle, and back office, finance, product control, and risk, to analyse and diagnose business critical issues.
10. Analyse and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.
11. Provides detailed information about issues to the vendor and co-ordinates with them in testing fixes/solutions.
12. Acts as an intermediary between business and vendor.
13. Debug and enhance bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience with Murex in a support capacity.
* Strong technical capability.
* Solid understanding of datamart.
