The ideal candidate has experience working in agile teams, collaborating with developers, UX designers, and copywriters, and understands how design decisions impact ecommerce performance and conversion. This role will also support general graphic design needs across the company, including digital ads, social assets, presentations, and brand materials.ResponsibilitiesDesign intuitive, user-friendly e-commerce layouts, landing pages, and website componentsCreate, improve, and use wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, design systems, and user flows in FigmaCollaborate closely with developers, copywriters, and UX designers to ensure design accuracy and usabilityProduce graphic design assets including banners, social media, email creatives, ads, and brand visualsPresent work to internal teams across disciplines, and clearly explain design decisionsAccept feedback, refine designs, and contribute to continuous improvementSupport UI improvements for websites built primarily on the Shopify platformRequirementsBachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, or equivalent professional experienceFive or more years of experience as a UI or UI/UX DesignerProven experience designing for ecommerce environments (Shopify experience strongly preferred)Deep experience in Figma and the Adobe Creative SuiteHands-on experience with wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flowsUnderstanding of basic front-end principles (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is a plus)Strong creative thinking and problem-solving mindsetExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with internal and external teamsOpen to objective feedback and committed to improving upon itA portfolio review presentation is required for this role and should demonstrate both UI/UX and graphic design capabilities.
