Job Summary
Pyyne is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer with experience working with .NET C# to work as a Consultant for a large US-based Insurance client out of our Brazilian Office.
A successful candidate in this role will be a capable individual contributor, able to
plan and build software systems and maintain the existing codebase. The Pyyne team will interact regularly and directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the client organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#
* Build responsive user interfaces using MVC architecture and React components
* Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
* Implement Entity Framework for data access layer and ORM functionality
* Apply dependency injection principles and design patterns for scalable application architecture
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in insurance applications and systems
Must Have Skills:
* 2+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile work environment
* Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core and C# programming
* Experience with ASP.NET MVC for web application development
* Experience with React.js and modern JavaScript ES6+
* Proficient in SQL Server, including query optimization and database design
* Knowledge of dependency injection patterns and IoC containers
* Experience with RESTful API development and integration
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
Nice to Have Skills:
* Experience in insurance domain or financial services industry in a consulting capacity
* Experience with Entity Framework
* Knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment strategies
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Experience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Jest)
