Research Electrician Opportunity: Participate in a Groundbreaking AI Project
Join a unique research initiative as an electrician and contribute to shaping the future of human-centered AI research.
As part of the Common Lives Project, you will wear a GoPro camera during your daily activities, capturing footage that will power future AI models understanding complex real-world activities.
The project requires you to:
* wear a head-mounted GoPro camera for 5 separate days within a 2-week window
* record a minimum of 7 hours per day, with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy
* at the end of each day, spend around 2 hours to:
* upload your footage to a secure platform
* review short clips
* choose to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment
To participate in this project, you must meet the following requirements:
* be an adult fluent in English
* live in a private, self-contained apartment, building, or indoor work environment
* have all household members agree to appear in the footage
* work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or child care)
* preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, mechanic)
