Job Title: Digital Asset Specialist
This role involves managing large-scale digital asset libraries with a strong focus on metadata and taxonomy expertise.
A key aspect of the job is to ensure the long-term scalability of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system by implementing governance policies, training content owners, and maintaining asset integrity.
The ideal candidate will have experience in organizing and managing digital assets, creating consistent folder structures and tagging standards, and working across teams to implement metadata best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain metadata models, taxonomy structures, and controlled vocabularies
* Organize and manage large volumes of digital assets in enterprise DAM platforms
* Create and apply consistent folder structures, naming conventions, and tagging standards
* Provide human-in-the-loop support for AI tagging tools and quality assurance
* Implement governance policies and metadata best practices across teams
* Train and onboard marketers and content owners on structured DAM systems
* Familiarity with usage rights, compliance workflows, and content lifecycle management
* Strategic mindset to scale metadata ownership over time
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in project management, communications, computational linguistics, or relevant field
* 3+ years of program or project management experience
* Experience in managing extensive digital asset libraries
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to teach/train content governance and DAM operational policies
* Strong problem-solving skills and service mindset
