Job Overview
As a seasoned Project Director, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality standards. You will develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
* Manage cross-functional teams, including Technical Architects, Developers, QA, and Business Analysts.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
2. Project Execution:
* Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Ensure projects meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on application/software development.
* Own and facilitate project status meetings, adjusting targets as needed.
3. Agile Methodologies:
* Manage sprints, backlogs, and work items within Agile methodologies.
* Track and manage user stories and epics, ensuring they align with project goals.
* Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure team collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Monitor burndown charts and Agile metrics to track project progress.
4. Business Analysis:
* Perform business analysis tasks, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews.
* Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to technical teams.
5. Client Engagement:
* Serve as clients' primary point of contact, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
* Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to clients and stakeholders.
* Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed their requirements.
6. Technical Oversight:
* Collaborate with Technical Architects to ensure project designs align with business objectives and technical standards.
* Review and approve technical and business documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic direction.
7. Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
* Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive solutions to potential challenges.
