Job Summary:
The Director of Renewable Energy Projects is responsible for leading a team in sourcing, nurturing, and closing deals for renewable projects, executing capital investments, and managing investor relations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Management: Train, lead, and inspire a team of finance professionals.
* Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring renewable energy projects in targeted global markets.
* Financial Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and rigorous due diligence to assess the viability, risks, and returns of potential investments.
* Negotiations and Deal Execution: Lead negotiations and execute complex financing and transactions for renewable energy projects.
* Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of renewable energy assets, optimize portfolio performance, and identify opportunities for growth and diversification.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
* Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, policy changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
