Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant at Baptist Urgent Care
Baptist Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team in Collierville, TN. Both FT and PRN opportunities are available.

Job Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages, managing a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, diagnose, treat, educate, and ensure high standards of care. Full-time providers work rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including 12-hour weekday shifts and alternate weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
* Deliver patient care in a friendly, efficient manner.
* Lead and assist during medical emergencies, maintaining a calming presence.
* Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with variable hours and locations.
* Perform assessments, treatments, and follow-up for various medical conditions including primary, urgent, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation.
* Conduct medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removals, pap smears, injections, splinting, and abscess drainage.
* Monitor and adjust patient care levels appropriately.
* Support onsite labs, x-rays, injections, and sample collections.
* Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to policies and standards.
* Participate in policy development, staff education, and service growth initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
* Represent the organization at meetings and events.
* Guide other medical staff to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
* State license as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
* Certification as an APRN through AANP or ANCC.
* DEA license or willingness to obtain.
* DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
* BLS certification.
* Experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
