Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Brazil. This role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities in the public bus sector across Brazil.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the public bus sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including public transport operators, system integrators, and government agencies.
* Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, to closing deals.
* Work closely with the technical and product teams to provide customized solutions based on client needs.
* Stay updated with market trends, regulations, and competitors in the Brazilian public transportation industry.
* Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events in Brazil and Latin America when necessary.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Transportation, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of sales or business development experience in the Brazilian bus or public transport industry.
* Proven track record in B2B solution selling, preferably in ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), telematics, or video surveillance systems.
* Strong network with local bus operators, transport authorities, or fleet management service providers is a major plus.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
* Portuguese fluency required; English proficiency is a strong advantage.
* Willingness to travel within Brazil and occasionally to other Latin American countries.
