Location: São Roque Plant.Summary description: Strategically lead the EHS area, ensuring governance, risk management, and operational excellence, integrating the EHS pillar into the Continuous Improvement system and other Supply pillars, promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and high performance.Responsibilities
Strategy and Governance
Develop and implement the unit's EHS Strategic Plan.
Ensure compliance with labor, environmental legislation, and regulatory standards (NRs).
Ensure compliance with global corporate EHS standards.
Lead internal and external audits.
Represent the unit before regulatory agencies.
Risk Management and Safety Culture
Lead risk management program.
Implement programs for accident and occupational illness prevention.
Conduct incident investigations.
Promote behavioral safety culture.
Lead emergency response and crisis management plans.
Lead PSM (Process Safety Management).
Occupational Health
Manage occupational health programs (PCMSO).
Monitor absenteeism and return-to-work indicators.
Ensure occupational hygiene management.
Ensure Ergonomics pillar management.
Environment and Sustainability
Manage environmental licenses and legal requirements.
Oversee waste management and effluent treatment.
Monitor environmental indicators.
Support corporate ESG goals.
Operational Excellence
Integrate EHS into the Continuous Improvement system.
Develop and control budget (CAPEX and OPEX) and Savings initiatives.
Lead engineering projects focused on safety.
Participate in food safety–related decision-making.
Implement Corporate EHS standards.
Leadership and People Management
Develop and lead technical team.
Establish goals and track KPIs.
Develop successors and training plan.
Manage Corporate Security processes.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accident frequency and severity rate (LTIR/TRIR).
Legal compliance index.
Percentage of corrective actions implemented.
Environmental indicators (water, energy, waste).
Audit results (zero critical nonconformities).
Engagement in safety programs.
Participates in decision-making related to food safety and people safety.
Technical Knowledge
Regulatory Standards (NRs).
Environmental legislation, SMETA certification, FSSC.
