We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support the local Accounting team in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial information in line with Group standards. This role plays a key part in group reporting, intercompany processes, and monthly cost closing, working closely with internal stakeholders across the organization.This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interact with multiple areas in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.Role PurposeThe Accounting Specialist supports group reporting activities and intercompany reconciliation processes, contributing to monthly cost closing, variance analysis, and the maintenance of a strong internal control environment. The role ensures compliance with accounting policies while providing reliable financial insights to support business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Reporting- Prepare and submit group reporting packages in line with corporate deadlines.- Analyze and explain balance variations versus prior periods.- Support group-level requests with accurate and well-documented information.Intercompany Reconciliation- Manage monthly intercompany declarations and reconciliations with group entities.- Investigate discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.- Continuously improve reconciliation processes to reduce closing workload and variances.Monthly Cost Closing & Analysis- Perform monthly closing activities for assigned cost categories.- Ensure cost provisions are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with business reality.- Partner with Cost Control to analyze cost evolution and key drivers.Internal Control & Compliance- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and internal control procedures.- Review and update controls as processes evolve.- Monitor adherence to authorization and approval policies.Management & Interaction Scope- Strong interaction with Accounting, Cost Control, AP, AR, HR, and Administrative teams.- Interface with shared services and group entities.Profile Requirements- Degree in Accounting.- Proven experience in accounting, auditing, cost reporting, and intercompany processes.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Fluent English is required.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Key CompetenciesAnalytical Thinking | Financial Acumen | Problem Solving | Communication | Results Orientation | Attention to Detail | Teamwork
