**What we're seeking**:
**About Sound Agriculture's LATAM expansion**
After impacting nearly 1 million hectares in the United States with our flagship product, SOURCE, we are now ready for a new chapter: the launch of TRIGGER in Brazil — a solution that shares the same principles of biological activation through plant-microbe signaling and was developed with a focus on soybean cultivation and the agronomic challenges of the country.
Based on natural flavonoids, TRIGGER enhances plant-soil communication by promoting the recruitment of beneficial microbes, nutrient release, and root development. Compatible with different management strategies, it represents a new way of activating natural processes with greater precision, efficiency, and return in the field.
**The Role: Build the Future, From the Ground Up**
As a Territory Sales Manager (TSM), this role is responsible for leading the introduction of Sound's technologies in Brazil by building strong relationships with large growers, agronomic advisors, and strategic dealers. This role operates across the entire customer journey — from first contact to long-term agronomic and commercial success including identifying, developing, and engaging high-potential distribution partners, building a local network aligned with our standards and long-term vision.
This is a front-line commercial position with full accountability for sales, in-field performance, and market development. Success requires strong technical and commercial capabilities, deep regional knowledge, and an ownership mindset. It's not just managing a territory - it's building one. This role requires frequent travel within the state of Mato Grosso, with in-person engagement alongside growers, agronomic consultants, and channel partners across different regions of the territory.
**Responsibilities**
- Identify, prospect, and build relationships with large growers and key agronomic advisors — including grower groups, regional influencers, and technical reference companies.
- Map, onboard, and develop high-quality dealers aligned with Sound's standards and long-term commercial vision.
- Maintain strong in-field presence and lead sales and technical activities from day one — including grower onboarding, performance-based trials, and post-sale support.
- Train dealers on the performance and technical positioning of Sound's products, and our Performance Guarantee program — enabling confident and effective sales.
- Represent Sound in the field — supporting technical positioning and validating agronomic results.
- Organize field days, technical events, and co-selling initiatives to build visibility and generate demand.
- Forecast performance in your territory and maintain discipline using CRM (Salesforce).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Agronomy, Customer Experience) to accelerate adoption and deliver grower value.
- Own regional planning, budgeting, and commercial execution with autonomy.
- Manage sales expenses, operating budgets, and local marketing funds according to Sound's commercial guidelines.
**Targeted Skills & Experience**
- Degree in Agronomy or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in field-based technical sales, including account management and technical support.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, preferably among the top performers in previous teams.
- Experience selling technologies that create new markets — not just competing in established categories.
- Demonstrated ability to engage large, innovative growers and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Success in business development — from prospecting to onboarding and growing new customers — with strong grasp of ROI and price-volume dynamics.
- Proficiency in post-sale technical support and customer retention, with a focus on satisfaction and product adoption.
- Hands-on experience with field trials and the ability to translate agronomic insights into commercial value.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the assigned region, with solid market knowledge and strong relationships with large growers and distribution partners.
- Proficiency in CRM too
