Role Overview

SearchTides is seeking a talented and versatile Content Writer & Editor who excels at creating and refining engaging, AI-assisted articles that naturally incorporate client backlinks.

In this hybrid role, you will both write original content and edit articles created by other team members, ensuring all content meets our high-quality standards while seamlessly integrating backlinks. This is a comprehensive writing and editing position.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced team environment, can work efficiently under time constraints, and has a sharp eye for both creative writing and meticulous editing. You should be comfortable tailoring tone and style to suit a variety of industries and audiences.

As part of our Content Team, you will work within our streamlined workflow system to produce and polish high-quality articles for backlink purposes. You will receive briefs including target URL, anchor text, and publishing website details, and will be responsible for the full content lifecycle, from topic ideation through final quality checks.

We regularly work with a range of industries, including:

• US Sports
• Casino & Gambling
• Finance

Responsibilities

• Propose engaging, relevant topic ideas
• Create well-researched, original, and high-quality AI-assisted articles (600-1000 words)
• Build natural context around anchor text to seamlessly integrate backlinks
• Work efficiently to complete articles within time constraints
• Submit content to our Editorial team and complete any revisions if needed
• Edit and polish articles created by other writers
• Proofread for grammar, clarity, tone, and flow; ensure correct link placement and quality standards are met

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience writing for backlink building, or guest posting (+1 years)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication (native-level)
• Ability to follow briefs and content guidelines precisely
• Familiar with AI writing tools and ability to work with AI-generated content
• Comfortable working independently
• Professional attitude toward communication, deadlines, revisions and feedback
• Strong editorial skills with attention to detail (comfortable wearing both hats)
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Gmail, Slack
• Must have access to a computer and reliable internet
• Knowledge of link building is preferred
• Ability to switch between writing and editing tasks quickly and efficiently
• Strong time management skills; ability to work efficiently within tight timeframes

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in blog writing and editing
• Experience with databases such as SeaTable or AirTable
