**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and grow our talented infrastructure team.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in building a strong team capable of managing our extensive global infrastructure, with a particular focus on our large-scale Continuous Integration (CI) environment hosted primarily in AWS, alongside significant resources in GCP.
You will oversee the management, strategy, and execution of our cloud (AWS, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure. This role requires a blend of strong technical infrastructure expertise, particularly in cloud environments, and proven leadership capabilities to manage engineers, guide projects, ensure system reliability, and contribute to the overarching IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, build, and direct the Infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting individual growth through performance management and development plans.
* Develop and implement strategies for managing, optimizing, and scaling our cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS and GCP environments, especially the CI systems.
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of reliable, performant, and scalable servers, networks, CI/CD infrastructure, and associated systems.
* Evaluate and select monitoring, remote management, and automation tools for infrastructure management across AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
* Collaborate with Security, DevOps, Engineering, and other departments to engineer IT solutions, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to security best practices.
* Manage infrastructure projects, including system migrations, scaling initiatives, and technology upgrades.
* Oversee Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for infrastructure systems.
* Administer established policies and procedures, contributing to departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural improvements.
* Set performance targets for the team, track progress, and report to senior leadership.
Requirements:
* Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts and principles, including extensive experience with both AWS and GCP cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and server hardware management.
* Proven experience leading, managing, and building an IT infrastructure team, including personnel decisions and performance management.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans for infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security in cloud environments.
* Experience performing complex tasks related to infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
* Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with cross-departmental leaders.
* Experience setting performance targets and reporting progress to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong experience managing large-scale Continuous Integration (CI/CD) infrastructure and associated tools.
* BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Networking, ITIL) are a plus.
* Strong experience in leading projects.
