What You’ll Do
Perform R2R activities for the US market:
Fixed assets activities (capitalizations, disposals, construction in progress monitoring, monthly depreciation run and accuracy checks, etc.)
Leasing activities (contracts maintenance, reconciliation and related postings, etc.)
Intercompany activities (disputes analysis, balance sheet and P&L elimination checks and accruals, etc.)
Salaries & wages activities (payroll and related journal entries, benefits accounting entries, etc.)
General accounting activities (recurrent accruals, prepaid analysis, etc.)
Support R2R Supervisor/Manager with period end closing activities, working in close cooperation with other R2R team members for the US market
Perform balance sheet reconciliations (as per split) and ensure proper escalation process for overdue items, providing meaningful insights in balance sheet review
Prepare monthly, quarterly and/or annual US GAAP and statutory financial reporting for US market. It includes timeliness, accuracy and conformity with legal, fiscal, statutory and corporate requirements
Ensure all controls requirements including SOX, PMI P&Ps, Finance Accounting Standards are met for activities in scope
Actively participate in local projects and proactively identify opportunities for improvement in R2R processes
What We’re Looking For
University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
Ability to communicate (written and verbal) fluently in Spanish and English
Strong experience in accounting processes, US GAAP
Strong communication and customer oriented skills
Proactive profile, able to work in dynamic environments with strong problem solving competencies, ability to translate findings into solutions
Management of PowerPoint and Excel tools (knowledge of Macros is a plus)
Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics (Dynfo system) is a plus
