Job Overview
This is a fully remote position working East Coast hours with CLT hiring model. The role requires technical direction and guidance for a wide array of application/infrastructure activities supporting business applications, processes & procedures across the enterprise.
Main Responsibilities
* Participate in architectural discussions to evaluate proposed solutions and their applicability/usefulness.
* Responsible for the support and implementation of solutions ensuring successful introduction across the organization and with clients.
* Perform technical analysis and prepare recommendations as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
* 5+ years of related Production support experience required, with experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.
* Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C++, Django, etc., and ability to learn.
* Experience in various App/Networking Monitoring Tools (Splunk, Appdynamics, Prometheus, etc.).
About the Role
The Senior Application Support individual will liaise between IT and business stakeholders to support complex application needs. They will develop strategic stakeholder relationships within business units to ensure client satisfaction with complex IT design and development of efficient business systems.
The role requires a broad knowledge of technical skills to effectively coordinate team members with supported businesses. Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills, and incident management skills are also essential.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivated, able to prioritize accordingly depending on demands from businesses and app/dev teams.
