About the role
Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut.
Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing.
We're looking for a Senior Finance Risk Manager to build the function from scratch and lead it as we scale in Brazil.
You'll join the team which operates as a second line of defence and is responsible for ensuring that first-line businesses properly manage risks and controls.
It's a hands-on role at first, perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and wants to shape their own team, structure, and strategy from day one.

What you'll be doing
- Collaborating closely with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Technology, and the broader Risk team to independently assess and oversee risk-taking activities
- Setting standards for managing liquidity risk, including risk appetite, balance sheet management, funding plans, and responses to changes in regulations
- Developing and maintaining risk management policies, procedures, limits, stress testing capabilities, analytics, and reporting infrastructure
- Engaging and challenging first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging liquidity risks, including new product risk assessments
- Implementing and delivering financial regulatory reports
- Modelling liquidity risks under various stress scenarios with appropriate assumptions and calibrations
- Monitoring liquidity risk exposures versus established limits (internal and regulatory)
- Investigating risk events, producing related MI reports, and escalating breaches to the appropriate committee
- Establishing key relationships with senior stakeholders to enforce risk management frameworks, identify emerging risks, and provide effective challenge
What you'll need
- Experience in liquidity risk management
- Expertise in liquidity risk issues and methodologies, balance sheet dynamics, and income statements
- An understanding of financial products and key liquidity risk drivers
- Experience implementing and delivering liquidity reports (DRL, IRRBB)
- An understanding of various stress testing methodologies along with practical experience with model development, implementation, and governance
- The ability to break complex problems into smaller ones and to enjoy working with data to facilitate your work
- The ability to work independently, exercise good judgement, and drive change
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Expertise managing market and capital risks
- Experience implementing and delivering reports (DDR, DRM, DLO, DLI)
- Experience in safeguarding and treasury
- Proficiency with SQL or other scripting languages
