Bid Manager I
This position is in a hybrid model at our São Bernardo do Campo unit.
Summary
Contribute to and ensure the coordination of all activities of the Work Package Manager (WPM) for proposal preparation and the initial baseline of the future project that will be handed over to the Project Manager.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate involved teams, including internal (work package managers, etc.)
and external (subcontractors, etc.)
teams.
Be responsible for preparing one or more proposals from prospecting to contract signing.
Analyze customer and competitor needs/requirements.
Define response strategy (pricing and target costs, product/system/service choices, technical solutions, etc.).
Develop or oversee the development of cost quotations, technical, and commercial proposals.
Present and promote proposals to the client, in close coordination with the Commercial/Account Manager.
Identify risks and profitability levels.
Organize bid reviews.
Once the contract is signed, ensure delivery (transition) to the Program/Project Manager.
Support the procurement team to establish criteria for subcontracting services and obtaining quotations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Experience structuring projects in sectors such as Defense, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Electric Sector, Transportation, etc.
Advanced proficiency in the Office suite, especially Excel.
Knowledge of MS Project.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to public bidding and contracts.
