Job SummaryClient is seeking a senior-level Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to lead the architecture, design, and build of complex planning solutions. This individual will be a hands-on consultant responsible for developing scalable planning models, supporting integrations across Adaptive Planning and Oracle platforms, and partnering with Finance, RevOps, Data, and IT teams to deliver business-critical planning capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep Adaptive Planning expertise, strong financial planning knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into high-impact system solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and build scalable planning models in Workday Adaptive PlanningDevelop and optimize complex models including dimensions, sheets, versions, assumptions, and driver-based logicDesign, support, and improve integrations and data workflows across Adaptive Planning and Oracle platformsPartner with Finance, RevOps, Data, and IT teams to translate planning requirements into sustainable system solutionsTroubleshoot model and integration issues and improve overall system performance, scalability, and usabilityCreate clear documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support long-term ownership and adoptionAct as a senior consultant, owning delivery quality and supporting key stakeholder relationshipsRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experienceProven experience architecting and building Adaptive Planning solutions, not just maintaining existing modelsDeep expertise in:DimensionsSheetsVersionsAssumptionsDriver-based planning logicComplex calculationsPerformance tuning and model optimizationProven experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with Oracle EPM and/or Oracle ERPStrong understanding of planning data structures, financial data flows, and integration best practicesStrong knowledge of financial planning and FP&A processes, including budgeting and forecastingAbility to connect technical configuration decisions to business and financial outcomesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholdersExperience working cross-functionally with Finance, RevOps, Data, and ITPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting SaaS or recurring revenue business modelsExperience leading or influencing Adaptive Planning best practices and standardsBackground in multi-entity or high-growth organizationsPrior consulting or advisory experience in complex planning environmentsIdeal Candidate ProfileSenior, hands-on consultant comfortable owning solution delivery end to endStrong technical builder with business-facing communication skillsAble to operate independently while partnering across multiple functional teamsSkilled at balancing architecture, execution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management
