Financial Reporting Specialist
This is a senior accounting position that requires a high level of expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting advisory services, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with IFRS and US GAAP, as well as exposure to multiple industries such as manufacturing, infrastructure, SaaS, retail, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Accounting Advisory Services: Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including IFRS and US GAAP conversions, financial statement preparation, and transaction analysis.
* Advisory Engagements: Assist in engagements related to financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting policy implementations.
* Regulatory Compliance: Support CFOs, Controllers, and Finance teams with regulatory compliance, GAAP conversions, and implementation of new accounting standards.
* M&A Transactions: Conduct research on technical accounting issues and provide recommendations for best practices. Assist in M&A transactions by supporting purchase accounting, due diligence, and post-merger financial reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Accounting Background: 7+ years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or external audit.
* Industry Exposure: Big Four or global advisory firm experience preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and other international accounting frameworks.
* Certification: CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required (or in progress).
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication and client management skills are also essential.
