Design Visionary for Complex Interfaces
As a Design Visionary, you will define and lead the design experiences across three core products - web and mobile. Your expertise will be instrumental in taking ideas from concept to completion. You will conduct and manage full research processes, lead usability testing sessions, gather feedback, and refine designs.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong bias for action and a scrappy attitude toward product development. Flexibility and willingness to pivot are key to success in this fast-paced environment. You will work closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scope appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states.
Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate is crucial. You will help establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall brand experience by creating and maintaining brand and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design. Fluency in English is required, along with a strong portfolio that showcases designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces. Proficiency in Figma is also essential, as is the ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.
Experience designing for similar users (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals) is preferred but not mandatory. The team relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion for collaboration. While the role is full-time, you will be paid as a contractor. The company will assist individuals who already have a company set up in Brazil or help you set up your own company in order to be compensated.
The interview process involves an asynchronous portfolio review, a project where you will create low-fidelity designs for a user experience addressing a given problem, and one or two follow-up interviews with the founder and/or Head of Engineering.
